2024-2025 Lottery Details
Brooklyn RISE is a tuition-free public charter school in Downtown Brooklyn. The application deadline for Brooklyn RISE Charter School is on March 31, 2024. Any applications received after this deadline will be added to the waitlist after the lottery is completed.
Brooklyn RISE Charter School accepts applications in the order they are received unless there are more applications than seats. On this day we currently have more applicants than we have seats for specific grades and therefore, are legally required to have a random lottery for student admission.
The lottery will prioritize 4 types of applicants - Children who have a sibling who attends our school or was accepted, Children who live in Community School District (CSD) 15 and Children whose home language is not English and Children who qualify for free or reduced price lunch.
The lottery will be held virtually at 9:00 a.m. on April 2nd, 2024 via Zoom and in person - https://bit.ly/brcslottery

Our lottery is open to the public and all are welcome to join; however, it is not mandatory for applicants to attend. Attendance will NOT impact a child’s chances of admission due to the randomized process.
Immediately after the lottery is complete all applicants will receive a call and an email to their home with the status of their application based on the results of the random lottery.
Brooklyn RISE Charter School does not discriminate based on intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, disability, English Language proficiency, race, creed, national origin, religion, immigration status or any other grounds held unlawful for a public school.

抽签完成后，所有申请人将立即收到一个电话和一封电子邮件，根据随机抽签的结果邮寄到他们家中，并附上申请状态。
